Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti attributed the "enchanting" ambiance of the Santiago Bernabéu stadium for galvanizing his squad towards the Champions League final on Wednesday. This came after the Spanish outfit netted two late goals to edge past Bayern Munich 2-1 in the second leg of the semifinal.

Following a 2-2 aggregate tie from the first leg, the stakes were high in Madrid as the victor would advance to face Borussia Dortmund in the final showdown slated for June 1 in London.

Initially, Bayern seemed poised for success after Alphonso Davies netted an impressive goal in the 68th minute. However, staying true to their Champions League pedigree, Real Madrid orchestrated a dramatic turnaround in the match's dying moments.

Despite facing apparent defeat, Madrid's substitute forward Joselu scripted a remarkable comeback, finding the net twice within a span of three minutes.

"This recurring phenomenon, which defies explanation, has once again unfolded before us," Ancelotti remarked, alluding to Madrid's penchant for late-game heroics in recent Champions League campaigns.

He continued, "It's the synergy of fervent supporters, an electrifying stadium atmosphere, and a squad brimming with belief. It's truly magical."

Madrid's first goal materialized from a rare blunder by Bayern goalkeeper Manuel Neuer. Though Neuer had been formidable throughout the match, he fumbled a routine shot, allowing Joselu to capitalize and level the score in the 88th minute.

This pivotal goal ignited a palpable fervor within the newly renovated Bernabéu, propelling Madrid to snatch the decisive winner in the 91st minute.
